Terms of service

1. The service

PlugFlow provides hosted collection forms, a moderation dashboard, embeddable testimonial walls, plugins for WordPress and Shopify, a Chrome extension and an API. Features and limits depend on your plan as described on our pricing page. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice; we will not remove functionality that materially reduces a paid plan's value during a billing period without a refund.

2. Accounts and workspaces

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity in your account and workspaces.
• Workspace owners control membership and billing. Members act on the owner's behalf within their assigned role.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

3. Your content and consent

You retain all rights to the testimonials, logos and other content you upload or collect ("Customer Content"). You grant us a licence to host, store, process and display Customer Content solely to provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the Author's permission to publish each testimonial, that testimonials are genuine and not misleading, and that you comply with consumer protection and advertising law in your jurisdiction (including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and related guidelines on fake reviews in India, the FTC Endorsement Guides in the United States, and equivalent rules elsewhere).

You must not:

• publish fabricated, paid-for or materially edited testimonials presented as genuine;
• collect personal data from Authors without a lawful basis or beyond what the form discloses;
• upload content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory or malicious;
• attempt to bypass plan limits, licence checks or domain restrictions, or interfere with the service's operation.

4. Plans, payment and cancellation

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Razorpay in INR or USD. Prices exclude applicable taxes (GST is added for customers in India).
• Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing; the plan remains active until the end of the paid period and is not refunded pro-rata, except where required by law.
• If a payment fails we will retry and notify you. After 7 days without payment the workspace is downgraded to the Free plan; content above Free limits is retained but not displayed until you upgrade again.
• Shopify merchants who subscribe through Shopify Billing are charged by Shopify under Shopify's terms.
• We may change prices with 30 days' notice by email; changes apply from your next renewal.

5. Plugins and licences

Plugin licence keys may be activated on the number of sites permitted by your plan. Keys are issued to your workspace and must not be shared or resold. The WordPress plugin is licensed under the GPL v2 or later; the Chrome extension and Shopify app are licensed for use only with PlugFlow.

6. Data protection

Our privacy policy describes how we handle personal data. Where you collect testimonials from people in the EU/UK or India, our data processing agreement forms part of these terms and governs our processing on your behalf.

7. Availability and support

We aim for 99.9% monthly availability of the public wall API and embed script, excluding scheduled maintenance announced in advance. Support is provided by email; Business plan customers receive priority handling. Service credits, where offered, are your sole remedy for downtime.

8. Intellectual property

PlugFlow, its software, design and documentation are owned by Sedulous Web and its licensors. Apart from the GPL-licensed WordPress plugin, you may not copy, modify or reverse-engineer the service. Feedback you send us may be used without obligation.

9. Termination

You may delete your workspace or account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, present a security risk, or remain unpaid, giving notice where practicable. On termination you may export your data for 30 days, after which it is deleted as described in our privacy policy.

10. Warranties and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses, loss of profits or data. Our total liability for any claim in a 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, or ₹10,000 if greater. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims arising from Customer Content, your breach of these terms, or your violation of law, including claims by Authors whose testimonials you publish without adequate consent.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bhubaneswar, Odisha have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections available in your country of residence. Before commencing proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith by contacting [email protected].

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
